When we were three…
Take a moment to store this special time of your pregnancy in your memory – the time there were just three of you. You’re probably preoccupied with your newborn baby’s arrival anytime soon, understandably, but capturing photos of this moment in your family’s story is so special.
Your pregnancy is such a unique time in your life, so you can’t help but focus on it – in between chasing after a toddler or older child. I love capturing the relationship of the little family unit that’s existed for the last year or so. The love for your first child, and that child’s love for your baby bump and the progression of your family is a special thing to look back on. Maybe I love this time and I’m wistful because I didn’t do it, and wished I had. Maybe that’s why I want to tell others so you don’t miss out either.
I aim for your photo session experience to be as lovely as your photos. At this stage of your pregnancy, you might not be taking much time out together as a family, so enjoy having fun together, cuddling, laughing, and just focusing on your little family.
Maternity sessions are totally flexible and can feature you on your own, your partner and child/children – or a mixture of everyone. You’ll get a variety of shots with different looks (and different location looks, depending on where we’re shooting) so it’s like three-sessions-in-one. With this in mind, if you’re after different vibes, bring along some outfit options – we can do some changes from a dress, to bikini and anything in between.
For your peace of mind, I’m aware you’re heavily pregnant and about to have a baby and will only suggest locations that are easy to park and access locations, and there’s always time for a break or rest. I get your other child or children on side (it’s part of my job description) so you don’t have to worry about how your child is behaving or what they’re doing.
One last thing – my clients have been really happy they booked a Bump & Baby package – they say it’s a no brainer as their newborn photo session is already lined up (I work around your due date). Can’t wait to hear from you!
